They are the base of the initial screw ups that made it difficult for the feds when Nagin and Blanco finally called them. You can thank yout state officials for poor evecuation and the superdome And still, all the hurricanes for each season since then that the greenies predicted never happened. It is also a scientific fact that ocean temperatures have consistently risen at a steady rate. I was a resident of New Orleans at the time of Katrina. I saw what it did to my home, to my city, to my students and how it ruined their lives. And I remember how FEMA was run effectively by both President Clinton and the first President Bush (Hurricane Andrew, Louisiana, 1992) and that stands in stark contrast to the disengaged, disjointed and criminally negligent performance of the current president. It is a scientific fact that warmer waters increase the strength of hurricanes. It is also a scientific fact that ocean temperatures have consistently risen at a steady rate.
