At Bain Capital, they sought out tax breaks, loans and other deals from state and local government. I've written before about Mitt's dad and his Progressive leanings. Dole is a just a pineapple. Reagan, however, is a true Conservative despite efforts by Jeb Bush and others to bleach his record. Reagan actually read Hayek and could talk the talk. Did he goof at times? Sure. But pound for pound, Ronald Reagan has been the most ideologically purest Conservative president we've had since Calvin Coolidge. ;) In my book, Romney is certainly a Socialist.
