Florida Atlantic University has issued a Jesus stomping apology to Ryan Rotela, the student who refused to stomp on the name of Jesus Christ. Governor Rick Scott has ordered an investigation into the matter which was started by Professor Deandre Poole, who is also the Vice Chair for the Democrat Party in West Palm Beach. Prof. Poole teaches a course in Intercultural Communications at FAU′s Boca Raton campus. The exercise was from a textbook, ″Intercultural Communications: A Contextual Approach, 5th Edition″, which had students write the name of Jesus on a piece of paper, then place it on the ground and stomp on it with your feet. Somehow, this act is suppose to encourage discourse and add knowledge. All it really demonstrates is how fouled up our education system is!

In yesterday’s piece, I wrote about out of wedlock births and what the effects of this are. In this article, I’m going to try to explain my set of solutions to this problem. As you’ll see, these are pretty controversial for both political parties and for the interest groups that are subsumed within them. Both political parties know that this is a devastating situation for our nation; if it could be solved by just attacking one point of view, it would be.

Following the fiscal cliff debacle, we heard Republican politicians recite the claim that they would, first, demand federal budget cuts and, second, demand that President Obama provide specific cuts in that federal budget for our next federal ‘crisis’, the debt limit extension. There are only two problems with that. Obama will never provide specific cuts now; the opportunity for that ended this week. As well, nobody who has examined Republican politicians this century can reasonably argue that they actually believe in spending cuts, other than cutting Big Bird. That’s fine, I guess. But, assuming that someone, anyone, in the GOP wants to win a quadrennial election in the near future, they must present a reasonable alternative to the Democrats.

National Rifle Association CEO Wayne Lapierre issued the first NRA statement one week following the Sandy Hook school Newtown shooting on Friday. Many in the Media and Liberal-Progressive politics, like NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, reacted with NRA outrage over the idea of having an armed policeman in every elementary school. The National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers rejected the concept as ″astounding and disturbing.″ While we still do not know what drove Adam Lanza to carry out his act of violence, the fact that he killed himself as soon as police arrived and entered the building does seem to lend credence to Lapierre′s basic point. That the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is with a good guy with a gun.

First Lady Michelle Obama is very happy that high school students are starving, thanks to new regulations imposed by her husband′s Socialist regime in 2010. Fainting students at one high school have made a video, We Are Hungry, displaying their frustration with the new federal mandates, limiting them to lunches of only 850 calories. Public school children in lower grades, get even less food. As with any Communist plot, the evil state covers their heinous crimes against humanity in flowery language, calling the new regulation ′The Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.′ That Michelle Obama want to starve American children while she enjoys French cuisine and whole turkeys deep fired after being soaked in salt brine is just hideous. Why, America? Why?

New York City high schools have begun a program offering the morning after pill, which provides emergency contraception to students who have had unprotected sex within the previous 72 hours. This joins the other types of birth control that are available in the NYC schools: condoms and birth control pills. These pills are passed out by school nurses in an effort to reduce the pregnancy rate among high school girls in the Big Apple.

Today the most highly paid public teachers union in the entire country went on strike, and their kids and parents should celebrate with gratitude. The Chicago school system is a brilliant case study of what is wrong with public education in our country.

Maybe it is time for the president to finally release his college transcripts. Away from the teleprompters and speech writers, when left to his own intellect Barack Obama misspelled Ohio in such a personal way that he created the viral picture of the day that is raging across the internet like a towering inferno of ignorant hilarity. Obama spelled Ohio wrongly which his critics are seizing upon as further evidence that our lovable president may not be as bright as advertised.
