SEAL Team 6 Families Charge Obama Administration with Cover Up (VIDEO)

The families and supporters of members of the SEAL Team 6 unit which was lost on August 6, 2011 in Afghanistan spoke out yesterday at the National Press Club. Some believe that the unit was set-up for assassination, perhaps betrayed by Afghanis working for the Taliban, to shoot down the CH-47 Chinook helicopter carrying 38 people, including 17 Navy SEALs. But the story gets even worse as a video shows the ′ramp ceremony′ where the bodies of the dead soldiers were returned to the United States. The Pentagon and Obama administration arranged for a Muslim cleric who was allowed to essentially insult our fallen heroes, condemning them to Hell and disparaging ″the God of Moses″. The incident paints a grim and tragic picture of how the Barack Hussein Obama administration is corrupting our military services on many levels, including political correctness and Muslim ′outreach.′

A Day That We Can All Celebrate

Yeah, I’m not talking about the Super Bowl. I just spent all week with some friends from Pittsburgh, and they’re all pretty depressed, regardless of which team wins. What I’m talking about is the news from Navy Times that American deaths in the Afghan War have declined to a four year low in the last three months of last year. During that period, there were only 30 American deaths. Continuing this trend, last month only three soldiers died, including one who was injured in December, and succumbed in January.

President Obama, stop the defense cuts

China and the United States have a very unique relationship. The United States depends on China for China’s cheap labor and inexpensive products, and for loans, and China depends on the United States to keep their businesses producing goods. Both could not survive without each other, yet we are strategic enemies and are in an outstanding arms race. This arms race expanded today, as China revealed their new military capabilities: They have landed a fighter Jet on a carrier.

What Can We Learn from the 2012 and 2010 Exit Polls?

Exit polls are important because they look at actual voters, and the choice that they made. As the name suggests, exit polls are those that take place right after voting, in contrast to the barrage of polls that took place for the past year. Here, we will concentrate on the issues that were important to voters; we can then see how these issues helped frame people’s decisions. Hopefully, these polls will help our understanding of the issues that played a part in the voters’ choices.

Powerful Congressman: Get Out of Afghanistan ASAP

Congressman Bill Young (R-FL), Chair of the House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, has changed his position on the war in Afghanistan and now believes that we should remove ourselves. In his words, Young stated, “I think we should remove ourselves from Afghanistan as quickly as we can. I just think we’re killing kids that don’t need to die.” It’s about time.

Obama plays politics in Afghanistan on Bin Laden anniversary

Barack Obama played politics as he flew to Afghanistan on the one anniversary of the death of Osama Bin Laden yesterday. Meeting Afghan President Hamid Karzai, they signed a deal already negotiated that will keep the United States involved both militarily and financially involved in the war-torn country until 2024. After that, and meeting some troops, Obama then made a televised speech from Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan to the American people, half of the speech had nothing to do with Afghanistan and everything to do with his reelection campaign. Given that it is roughly a 14-hour flight, one-way, at a cost of at least $180,000 an hour, this adventure cost the taxpayers over $5 Million dollars! This farce was made worse when the Taliban, with whom Obama wants to talk peace with, sent another suicide-homicide bomber into the capital city of Kabul, killing 7 Afghans, including four civilians. About 18 others were injured in the explosion.

United States, Afghan Government Deal on Controversial Night Raids

The United States and the Afghan government have reached a deal concerning controversial night raids. A formal signing will take place later today between the Afghan Defense Minister, Abdul Rahim Wardak and NATO commander in Afghanistan, General John Allen. The Afghan Foreign Ministry announced that a deal had been reached, with the approval of Hamid Karzai and Barack Obama which would give local leaders the right to veto any NATO-led night raids on Afghan soil. A small number of these have resulted in the accidental deaths of Afghan civilians, and has added to the strained relationship between all parties.

Robert Bales at Fort Leavenworth for Afghan Shooting, Blame Obama

U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Robert Bales is currently being held at the military prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He is expected to be formally charged this week in connection to a shooting spree in Afghanistan where he allegedly shot and killed 16 Afghan civilians, including nine children. Those who knew Sgt. Bales are shocked by the allegations and appear to be sympathetic to his plight. He joined the Army shortly after the 9/11 attacks in 2001 and has served three tours of duty in the war zones of Iraq and Afghanistan. Highly decorated for bravery and having suffered a head wound in combat, Bales was slated to not be shipped out again. But he was, at a time when Bales also faced family problems at home.
