Obama, Gun Control and Hypocrisy

Sunday evening, Barack Obama attended and spoke at the memorial service for the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. Obama proclaimed that ″we″ are not doing enough to protect our children and vowed to use his powers to push new gun control laws because ″we must change.″ Already a growing chorus of politicians are lining up, like Senators Joe Manchin, Mark Warner, and Diane Feinstein, as well as NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and former Congressman Joe Scarborough. Many on Capitol Hill seem ready to take on the National Rifle Association and the Second Amendment to ban so-called ′assault weapons′ as well as high-capacity ammunition magazines. In recent weeks, we have heard that America is suffering from a ′Culture of Guns′, but I say it is a Culture of Death which plagues us. How Obama can shed his crocodile tears for the dead from Sandy Hook while supporting late term abortions is the height of hypocrisy!

It’s Time for John McCain to Retire

Many people contended that John McCain should retire from the Senate following his crushing 2008 Presidential election defeat by Barack Obama. After all, he had tried for a number of years to win the Republican Presidential nomination, had finally won it, but then showed no interest or understanding in the economic travails that were driving America and most of the rest of the world into recession that year. He had to deal with the embarrassment of having a Vice Presidential nominee who consistently was more electrifying and spoke to rapturous throngs, while his could fit in a Waffle House.

Gender Gap Gone, Romnesia or Obamaroids?

The latest polling data shows that the gender gap between women supporting Barack Obama and Mitt Romney is all but gone. Months and hundreds of millions of dollars worth of attack ads against Romney, attempting to paint him as a mean, rich man out to deny women abortions and contraceptives are now all for naught. His debate performances have been enough to persuade women voters that Mitt Romney is a nice guy who cares about them. So have voters developed Romnesia, coined by Obama referring to Mitt′s many policy position changes? Or is America suffering from Obamaroids, coined by the Great One, Mark Levin, referring to the pain in the butt Obama has been to our nation for the last 4 years?

Sandra Fluke Appearance at Obama Rally Attracts 10 Person Throng

Earlier this year, a Georgetown coed, Sandra Fluke, attracted a lot of media attention when Republicans did not permit her to speak before a House committee on the urgent need for Obamacare to cover the costs of contraception. She then found a group of Democratic House members who were willing to listen to her inspiring tale of how onerous the cost of purchasing their own contraceptive devices could be for health insurance recipients. Later, she became a cause celebre when Rush Limbaugh cast aspersions upon her sexual experiences.

When Pollsters Can’t Be Believed: McCaskill VS. Akin in Missouri

As we are aware, the Missouri Senate race being defended by Democrat Claire McCaskill has been in turmoil for the last few weeks. A Senate seat that was widely expected to be won by the GOP is now, at best, questionable because of a statement made by her Republican challenger, Todd Akin.

Todd Akin and the Science of Pregnancy

When you get right down to it, what Todd Akin said last week does not matter, as the Liberal Democrats were planning to attack Republicans on abortion anyway. Akin was ahead in the polls against Claire McCaskill in Missouri, but the real problem was Barack Obama being exposed for cutting $716 Billion dollars from Medicare. So its no coincidence that just days before the Todd Akin interview, Obama dragged the new darling of Feminism, Sandra Fluke, out on stage. She and other like-minded speakers will transform the DNC convention next week into a free-contraceptive, pro-abortion rally. So had Akin never misspoke about how a woman′s body functions or used the term ′legitimate rape′, the Democrats were going to launch a fresh assault on the War on Women. As usual, the Liberals are showing their hypocrisy, claiming to embrace science and evolution. The problem is, Todd Akin was correct, in a sort of backwards way, proving that he and fundamentalist Christians have a better grip on science than Liberals do.

Vatican Crackdown on American Nuns

The Vatican will crackdown on American nuns for being too Liberal. Pope Benedict XVI is not happy about a U.S. nun organization, the Leadership Conference of Women Religious. Seems that they may be too open minded about subjects like homosexuality, abortion and euthanasia. The Roman Catholic faith in the United States is the largest single religious domination, with roughly one-quarter of the population as members. The LCWR claims it has some 1,500 members, a small fraction of the more than 55,000 nuns in America. The nun crackdown is being assigned to Archbishop Peter Sartain according to the Vatican report. This comes just as Bishop Daniel Jenky of Peoria, IL, compared Barack Obama to Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin.

Michelle Duggar and Overpopulation – Is it a Lie?

Michelle Duggar and overpopulation have become a hot topic. The star of TLC network′s ′19 Kids and Counting′ thinks that the idea of overpopulation is a lie. Duggar spoke on the Christian Broadcasting Network that the entire world′s population could fit inside the city limits of Jacksonville, Florida. She also agrees with Mother Teresa saying ″that there are too many children is like saying there are too many flowers.″ For those of us with allergies, there are too many flowers! But what about overpopulation? We′ve been hearing warnings on the ′population bomb′ since the early 1970s.

Michelle Duggar thinks overpopulation is hogwash. The world is a big place and most of its people live in a few small regions.
