Michigan Right To Work – Violent Protests (Video)

Union protesters turned violent at the Capitol Building in Lansing as Gov. Rick Snyder signed the Michigan Right To Work 2012 bill into law. Steven Crowder, a contributor to the Fox News Channel, was among those assaulted as a group of union thugs tore down two tents occupied by women and handicapped seniors who support the new law. Video of the event clearly shows that Crowder was sucker-punched. Unions and their Democrat allies claim that the new law is unfair as it gives workers the option of joining a union and paying dues. They say it gives non-union workers a ′free ride′ to enjoy the benefits which unions claim to have negotiated. Of course, this argument falls on deaf ears when it comes to the 47% who pay no income tax yet enjoy the benefits of being an American citizen. Michigan now becomes the 24th state to have a right-to-work.

Egypt President Mohamed Morsi – Pharaoh

Our State Department may have been premature praising the president of Egypt, Mohamed Morsi, for arranging a cease fire between Israel and Hamas. The leader of the Muslim Brotherhood has declared himself above the law, not subject to the court system, setting Morsi up as a dictator or 21st Century pharaoh. In a power grab move, Morsi claims he is protecting the nation from those politicians and bureaucrats associated with the former president, Hosni Mubarak. But not everyone agrees as thousands have taken to the streets protesting across the country from Tahrir Square to Port Said. In some locations, the offices of the Muslim Brotherhood were burned or ransacked. Will the struggling regime survive?

Police Pepper Spray Students at Santa Monica College

Mayhem broke out at Santa Monica College when campus police had to pepper spray students protesting a Board of Trustees meeting. About 30 students were treated for injuries and three were hospitalized. The students were upset over plans for the college to institute a two-tiered tuition program. The community college has been forced to trim its budget and eliminate some 1,100 classes out of the 7,400 offered. Some classes would have their class fees increased as much as 400%. About 100 students gathered to attend the meeting, but were shut out due to the small size of the room. As the crowd grew unruly, two campus police officers reacted by pepper spraying the students.

New Black Panther Party $10,000 Bounty for George Zimmerman (VIDEO)

The hysteria over the Trayvon Martin case is reaching a fever pitch now that the New Black Panther Party has a bounty for George Zimmerman. The Black Panther bounty is $10,000 for George Zimmerman′s capture. Which naturally leads us to ask, capture for what? Zimmerman is not under arrest, there is no warrant for his arrest. Not yet anyway. He is in hiding since the Trayvon Martin shooting became a national news story, with even Barack Obama speaking out about it. Al Sharpton has been leading daily rallies in Sanford, Florida, all televised on his MSNBC show, stirring up crowds in the thousands who want Zimmerman arrested. If cooler heads do not intercede soon, there is great potential for some serious trouble this summer. Meanwhile, a Trayvon Martin police report was leaked casting some doubts on who was the actual aggressor, throwing the first punch, which led to the young man′s death. With little to go on other than two eyewitnesses, who support George Zimmerman ′s side of the story and his 911 calls which were recorded, the truth may never really be known.

Here is the latest news about the case.

Wednesday is SOPA Blackout day on Wikipedia and many other websites. This is the response to the pending SOPA and PIPA bills in Congress. Actually, SOPA and PIPA are a series of anti-piracy legislative initiatives which many see as an attempt to begin censorship on the Internet in the United States. Needless to say, a whole lot of people who love and depend on the Internet are opposed to this move by the government. Since midnight Wednesday, Wikipedia is in blackout mode along with many other websites to protest to stop SOPA and PIPA dead in its tracks.
