White House Gatecrashers’ Michaele Salahi, Tareq Salahi Have Ties to Terrorist Sympathizer

You would think Michaele and Tareq Salahi’s 15-minutes of fame would be up by now but sadly, not. Information is now surfacing that the Obama White House “gatecrashers” have ties with a terrorism apologist who, it just so happens, is a close friend of Barack Obama. I’m shocked! You can read more about this below, see yet one more photo of the gatecrashers, and watch a couple of videos.

Michaele Tareq Salahi

So here we go - again. Those attention hungry Salahi’s - that harmless little couple, gatecrashing, all for a reality TV show - have ties to Rashid Khalidi, a pro-Palestinian professor who makes excuses for terrorism and is one of “many pals” of Barack Obama. And get this, the gatecrashing Salahi’s and Obama have known each other for at least five years!

Rahm Emanuel: Israel Two State Solution Demand

President Obama’s Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, warned Israel that their “moment of truth” has arrived. Israel must accept Emanuel’s Two State Solution demand with Palestine or forfeit U.S. help in dismantling Iran’s nuclear program. See photos and a video below.

According to the Jerusalem Post, Emanuel made the comments in a “closed-door meeting…with 300 major AIPAC donors.” According to IsraelToday:

Speaking at the annual Washington conference of the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), Ynet quoted Emanuel as insisting that the ability to confront Iran and reach a diplomatic solution over its defiant nuclear program was solely dependent on progress toward the birth of “Palestine.

Emanuel said that with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu scheduled to meet with U.S. President Barack Obama later this month, Israel now faces a moment of truth - it can either acquiesce to international demands and in return have its most serious threats dealt with, or maintain the status quo and have those threats persist.

Israeli Letter to Rahm Emanuel: ‘Remember You’re Jewish’

A reported verbal exchange between Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and an unidentified American Jewish Leader, prompted a letter from the National Union Chairman, Ya’acov “Ketzele” Katz. The Israeli reportedly told Rahm Emanuel in the letter “not to forget you’re Jewish”. Read more, see photos and video below.

Israeli Letter Rahm Emanuel 5

Rahm Emanuel

Katz says that in the conversation between the unidentified Jewish leader and Rahm Emanuel, that Emanuel says,

“In the next four years, there will be a peace agreement with the Palestinians on the basis of two states for two peoples, and it does not matter to us who is the prime minister.”

The Israeli, Katz wrote in his letter to Rahm Emmanuel:

“For many Israelis, this report is a cause for worry because it reveals a condescending attitude toward our prime minister and Israeli public opinion. This is an attitude that Israel does not expect from a real friend such as the US, and all the more so from an Israeli Jew who has succeeded in being appointed White House chief-of-staff.”

“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?” Katz wrote, quoting from the Book of Esther (4:14).

Israeli’s like Katz think that Rahm Emanuel should use his influence in the administration to protect Israeli interests and not help in the creation of a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza.

The National Union party is a right wing political party, not likely to succumb to the whims of left leaning policies shown by the Obama administration since taking office. The National Union party were opposed to withdrawing out of Gaza and are strictly opposed to the creation of a Palestinian state.

It remains to be seen as to whether this group will support or oppose the Netanyahu administration, this will depend totally on Netanyahu’s position on the creation of a separate Palestinian state. There has been no word on Rahm Emanuel’s reaction to the letter from the Israeli’s as of yet.

Hillary Clinton: Palestinian Scholarships

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has gleefully announced a million dollar scholarship program to help Palestinian students attend Palestinian and American Universities. Read more, photos and video below.

Palestinian Scholorships 1

Hillary Clinton

While visiting the West Bank, Mrs. Clinton announced the Middle East Partnership Initiative. The four year program will support about 10 underprivileged students from Palestine each year; and will help them to attend Palestinian Universities. The program will also offer 25 “opportunity grants? to disadvantaged students to apply to American accredited schools in the United States.

Mrs. Clinton hopes to begin the program in the 2010-2011 school year; once funds have been approved by congress. I don’t think she’ll have a problem getting that done, do you? Mrs. Clinton just announced $900 million in aid to the Palestinian authority last week. Seems like all of those speeches about being strong allies with Israel were just that, speeches. From the Chronicle:

During her visit to an American-sponsored English-language teaching program in Ramallah, Mrs. Clinton said the opportunity grants would create “a larger pool of capable young men and women from places like the West Bank and Gaza? who can “compete along with students in other countries for the opportunity to further their academic training in America.? The secretary spoke on a youth program aired by Palestinian Authority TV.

There have already been problems in the past with students from Gaza trying to enter Israel to finish an application process having won the Fulbright scholarship. They were then denied entry status into the United States due to security constraints.

Michaela Schweitzer-Bluhm, who is a spokeswoman for the United States consulate in Jerusalem, said that every effort was being made to allow Gazans to participate in programs sponsored by the United States despite security challenges. Why not give the money to American students to study in American Universities, who pose no security “challenges?; I guess that would be politically incorrect.

Mrs. Clinton had been urged by Arab groups to help students in Palestine receive their education in the United States in recent weeks. That, I’m sure, is just a coincidence.

Obama: Robert Malley Connection to Iran Syria and Hamas

Obama on Israel Gaza Conflict

Barack Obama speaks out on the Israel Gaza conflict? No. Are you kidding!?! Of course not. Read about his reaction and the reaction of others to his reaction below.

barack obama 135

Barack Obama Action Figure

The Middle East is exploding. I realize that’s not something that is new, but this particular war is new. Israel finally responded to the constant rocket attacks on Southern Israel by Hamas on December 27th. Last night, during the night, they pushed into Gaza on the ground with tanks and boots on the ground.

All hell has broken loose.

Hamas, predictably, carried on about how they were being picked on by Israel and boasted that they would kill every Jew in the world and renew suicide bombings. Not necessarily in that order. As Israeli troops pushed into Gaza, Hamas started crying foul and saying they never said anything bad about Israelis, they were just joking … haha …. they take it all back. Make those mean ol’ Jews go back to Israel!

Meanwhile, world leaders are weighing in. Surprisingly, even Arab nations have not run to the side of Palistine. Iran being the exception, of course. Egypt has refused to open the border between their two nations, having closed it a year or so ago because they were as tired of being beat up by Hamas as Israel was. Jordan has taken a hands off approach. The European Union has come down on the side of Israel as has California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger! Heh! The White House has taken a hard line stance against the terrorist attacks of Hamas against Israel as part of the Global War on Terrorism.

France has condemned Israel’s self defense. But then … well … that’s Fwance.

And so, the world looked to President-elect Barack Obama to step up to the plate to make a statement. Is he for Israel? Is he for Hamas? Will he stand by his campaign promises? Each side waits and wonders, depending on which group he was talking to and making promises to at any given time. What, what, oh what will the soon to be President do?

And there is silence.

Cynthia McKinney Tries to Aid Palestinians

Activist and one time Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney was taking aid to Palestine when the yacht was rammed by an Israeli naval vessel. Now she’s mad and doing what she does best, blaming Israel for all her problems. Read about it below and see a photo and video.

cynthia mckinney 8789
Cynthia McKinney

Former Georgia U.S. Representative Cynthia McKinney is no friend of Israel. I suppose I have to stop short of saying she’s an anti-Semite since I can’t read her mind, but perhaps I can say that she has exhibited behavior throughout her career that certainly would leave one to wonder if that were the case. Today is yet another example of where her loyalties lie.

Under the guise of being ‘anti-war’, Cynthia McKinney took off on a yacht that left Cyprus with a reported 3.5 tons of medical supplies for Gaza. I’ll just insert here that it’ll be interesting to find out what else was on that yacht. The silly McKinney, affectionately referred to as the ‘cutest little communist in congress’, boarded a yacht owned by the Free Gaza Movement to accompany delivering this aid and whatever else to Gaza.

Never mind that the Middle East is exploding. Never mind that Israel is bombing the living daylights out of Gaza and Palestine is bombing the living daylights out of Southern Israel. Never mind that Israel left Gaza a while back and haven’t BEEN occupying the area. Never mind the facts. Just hop your little idealistic, unrealistic self on a yacht and float into a war zone and then get upset when you are stopped.

Life is so unfair to Cynthia.

Reportedly, Israel’s military fired warning shots, but the little yacht called ‘Dignity’ kept trudging along to its stated goal. So the Israeli naval vessel rammed the yacht. Accidentally, of course. The boat along with disgruntled passengers have been escorted into a port in Lebanon and they are busily bad mouthing Israel and all things Jewish.

“Our boat was rammed three times, twice in the front and one on the side.” … “Our mission was a peaceful mission. Our mission was thwarted by the aggressiveness of the Israeli military”

For the information of anyone who might be reading this. War is not a game and if you go into a war zone, you will not be safe. Its not a game or a back drop for someone to use to draw attention to whatever cause they are living for at the moment. Its not about McKinney, its not about you, its not about me, its not a game. Really. Its not.

LA Times Obama Video: Rashid Khalidi

Rashid Khalidi is the controversial Palestinian scholar praised by Barack Obama in the infamous LA Times video. The LA Times newspaper refuses to release the video for thin reasons, journalistically speaking. See the evidence and story below.

Rashid Khalidi LA Times
Rashid Khalidi

So who is Rashid Khalidi at the center of the Los Angeles Times Obama video firestorm? Nominally he is a 58 year old Professor of Arab Studies at Columbia University intertwined in Palestinian causes. Outside the resume he has advocated and provided a legal argument for Palestinians fighting violent wars in Israeli lands, land which he still terms an occupation, putting him at odds with UN Resolution 181 in 1947/48 which established Israel and was supported by the United States. He has called for “reparations” to Iraqis for the Iraqi War.

There is some evidence that Rashid Khalidi served as a de-facto spokesman for Yasser Arafat’s bloody Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), a charge which he denies. Yet whether official spokesman or surrogate, he has done the Palestinians’ bidding over a long career that has impugned Israeli sovereignty at every opportunity, even serving as a Palestinian delegate during the farcical Madrid conference in 1991.

His controversial statements reportedly caused Princeton University to pull back from a tenured position there. So he remains at the most liberal and (subjective assessment) anti-Jewish institute of higher learning in the nation, Columbia University.

Read more about him here.

LA Times Obama Video

The saga begins way back in April 2008 when the LA Times reported on an event starring exemplary citizens William Ayers and Rashid Khalidi, sitting side by side with Barack Obama. About the video, they mention in passing that Obama toasted the radical Khalidi, but they neglect to report what exactly he said. They do not report the context, the reactions, or the speech by Ayers in which a dutiful Obama presumably sat through nodding and smiling. The LA Times concludes rather cryptically that Palestinians have a “friend” in Obama.

It should be noted that Barack Obama and Rashid Khalidi are close friends, one of the few friends Obama has acknowledged from his life before 2006. His kids go to school with Khalidi’s and he has admitted a full understanding of his views in an earlier interview.

Now fast forward to October 2008 where the major media is beginning to ask questions in light of Obama’s known associations with anti-American radicals. Where is the video? Let’s see for ourselves. Even the famously liberal politico.com and their embarrassing Obama-yes-man Ben Smith has “encouraged” the video’s release. That should end the argument.

Yet suddenly the Los Angeles Times is saying today that the informant gave them the video on condition it not be released. They could write about the contents, but not release it. Anyone believe that excuse? It’s like your best friend giving you a porno tape but making you promise not to watch.

What the LA Times did say at the time about the Obama Khalidi video:

The warm embrace Obama gave to Khalidi, and words like those at the professor’s going-away party, have left some Palestinian American leaders believing that Obama is more receptive to their viewpoint than he is willing to say.

One speaker likened “Zionist settlers on the West Bank” to Osama bin Laden, saying both had been “blinded by ideology.”

The Times claims in typical liberal fashion that they have given the full story by, you know, writing about the video. The problem, of course, is they have given us a sanitized version of the encounter, putting the best foot forward. The Los Angeles Times has endorsed Senator Obama for president, so they are hardly to be trusted with damaging information.

I think what actually happened here is the publisher is now stuck between loyalty to biased staff and the news. His Democrat staff, putting their best foot forward for Obama, concocted an excuse to hide the tape. Now the poor publisher has to protect the chastity of his staff or acknowledge they are acting like Obama embedded reporters. He knows the video is news. Give him credit for that. The junior reporters and their apologists in the newsroom are to blame for this conspiracy. Conjecture of course, but can you do better?
