Muslim 2-Child Limit in Myanmar

Noble Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi has joined with Human Rights Watch to denounce the new Muslim 2-child limit ordered in certain provinces in Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. The restrictions effect the Rakhine state in Western Myanmar were there have been clashes between Buddhists and Muslim Rohingya families. Sectarian violence erupted in two Rakhine townships in the past year. Local provincial leader, Win Myaing, told the AFP that the birth rate of Muslims has been high, also resulting in a crackdown to enforce monogamy laws in Rakhine. But President Thein Sein is coming under fire for the unrest, which claims at least 200 dead and thousands displaced as refugees. Another watchdog and relief group, the Arakan Project, is also keeping a close eye on the violence. Aside from problems caused by citizens of Myanmar, there has also been a large influx of refugees from Bangladesh into the western provinces.

The Twisted World of Boston Bombing Suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev

Now that the two Boston bombing suspects, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, have either been killed or captured, it is time to look at the how and why these two brothers went from being Chechen refugees to Islamic terrorists. Both were born in Kyrgzstan but the family later moved to the Muslim republic of Dagestan, along the southern border of Chechnya. In 2002, the family, or at least Dzhokhar and his mother, moved to the United States, granted political asylum by our State Department. The story of Tamerlan is more unclear. He may have arrived with his other family members to Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2002, or possibly later in 2004. Either way, Tamerlan returned to Dagestan at some point early on. He later returned there in the spring of 2012 and was out of the United States until mid-August of last year.

Jihad Friday or Day of Love?

Yesterday, the government of Pakistan declared a holiday, a Day of Love for the Prophet Mohammed, but it quickly degenerated into another episode of Jihad Friday. Tens of thousands of protesters hit the streets carrying pictures and signs praising Osama bin Laden while burning American flags, pictures of Barack Obama, Pakistan police cars and local businesses and shops. Reports range from 15 to 19 deaths and hundreds of injuries occurred as mobs clashed with police and Pakistani government forces. This came a day after a new commercial began airing on Pakistani television featuring Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton apologizing once again for the anti-Islam video, The Innocence of Muslims, costing United States taxpayers about $70,000.

Middle East Protests Spread as Obama Clueless

The Middle East protests continue to rage and spread through twenty countries on Jihad Friday. Barack Obama and his administration continues to try to blame the anti-Islam film, The Innocence of Muslims, for the cause. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton even raised the issue again during her remarks at the ceremony of the Libya victims bodies being returned on Friday. But there is growing evidence that Al Qaeda and associated terror groups were planning this long before. The movie trailer only became posted on the Internet in July while the previous month, June, saw several attacks in Benghazi by radical militants, including an IED being tossed at our consulate. The same which was overrun and burned this past Tuesday.

Obama Parties as Arab Spring Rages

Barack Obama attended yet another fundraising party, this time in Las Vegas, while new reports indicate that Ambassador Chris Stevens was the target of an assassination by a Libyan group with ties to Al Qaeda. In fact, the protests and assaults on our embassy in Cairo and the consulate in Benghazi may have been part of a coordinated effort. While some attribute the protests due to a low-budget movie about the Prophet Mohammed, the fact that the assaults took place on 9/11 raises doubts. Al Qaeda leader, Ayman al-Zawahri had released a video of his own just before and his brother was seen as part of the mob outside the US embassy in Cairo. The video from al-Zawahri acknowledged the death of Libyan-born Abu Yahya al-Libi, the Number Two man of Al Qaeda, killed in a drone strike back in June. The group suspected to be involved in the Benghazi attack on our consulate is the Omar Abdul Rahman Brigade, which claimed responsibility of a bomb attack against our consulate just last month.

Obama – Too Busy or Lazy to Lead?

The past 24 hours raises the question of whether Barack Obama is too busy or too lazy to be president? He is apparently too busy to meet with the Prime Minister of Israel to discuss the latest intelligence concerning Iran and its nuclear program. Meanwhile, the U.S. embassy in Cairo was stormed by protesters and our flag was dragged down and replaced with an Islamic flag. Our embassy in Libya was attacked with gunfire and rocket grenades, resulting in the deaths of four U.S. citizens, including our ambassador to Libya! Earlier this week, we learned that Obama skips most of his daily security briefings, only attending about 44% of them. We already know that Obama has not met with his jobs council since January. So just what the heck is he doing to earn his pay and all those wonderful benefits of being president?

Gospel of Barnabas – Iran thinks Christianity will Collapse

Could a version of the Gospel of St. Barnabas found in Turkey in 2000 lead Christianity to collapse? That′s what they are saying in Iran. The Basij Press is claiming that the recently discovered text, allegedly written in the 5th or 6th Century, acknowledges that Islam is the true religion of God. One passage from Chapter 41 retells the Bible story when Adam and Eve were cast out of Eden by the Archangel Michael. That Adam turned his head and saw a message on top of the gateway saying ″Allah is the only God and Muhammad his prophet.″ The text was found in Turkey as part of a bust of a smuggling ring. Turkish authorities believe that this ′gospel′ is a fake, written in the 16th Century. So does this alleged Gospel of Barnabas belong in any contemporary Bible?
