This week, Susan Rice has been meeting with a number of Republican senators to try to explain why she gave deceptive answers on a series of talking head shows after the Benghazi murders. This is widely assumed to anticipate Rice’s nomination to replace Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. Well, these private get-togethers are probably not going as well as Rice might have hoped. After each of them, the GOP senator has a press conference where he or she explains why they are disturbed or disgusted with Rice. The interesting thing to me is that none of them seem to fault the individuals who are actually more directly to blame for the Benghazi fiasco, David Petraeus, who was head of the CIA or Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State.

Songwriter and Socialite, Denise Rich, has renounced her U.S. citizenship, adopting Austria as her new home to avoid paying millions of dollars in taxes. The move was made last November, adding to the growing list of Americans fleeing the country. Since Barack Obama took office, the number of people renouncing their citizenship has increased more than 600%, with roughly 157 leaving the U.S. each month. What may be most telling about this case is that Denise is the ex-wife of Marc Rich, a billionaire who himself was indicted for tax evasion in 1983. While the couple divorced in 1996, Denise still worked at securing a pardon from then President Bill Clinton. The Grammy Award winning writer has been a major fund raiser and contributor to the Democrat Party. All of her efforts paid off when Eric Holder cleared the way for Clinton to pardon Rich as the president left office.

The past two weeks have seen the wheels coming off the Barack Obama reelection campaign as his fellow Democrats abandon him and praise Mitt Romney for his business experience. After the likes of Newark Mayor Cory Booker, former Obama auto-czar Steve Ratner, former Congressman Harold Ford, Jr. and former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell all took issue with Obama attack ads on Romney and his time at Bain Capital, two more names jumped ship yesterday. The current Governor of Massachusetts, Duval Patrick, said yesterday morning on MSNBC that Bain Capital was a ″good company″ and that he had ″many friends″ there. He also gave Romney kudos for his time as governor of the state. Then we have the Big Dog, Bill Clinton, who not only praised Mitt Romney for his business experience, calling it “sterling”, but added that the combination of that with his time as Massachusetts governor made Romney very ″qualified″ to be president.

Yes indeed, former President Bill Clinton posed with porn stars while attending a charity gala in Monaco! Our favorite Bubba may have some ′splainin′ to do with his wife Hillary. Better hide the ashtrays and other breakables, Bill after your Nights in Monaco! Clinton was in Monaco at the extravagant gala at a Monte Carlo casino raising funds for his William J. Clinton Foundation, as well as his host′s charity, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. The photo of Clinton with porn stars Brooklyn Lee (the redhead on the right) and Tasha Reign popped up when Reign posted the public for public consumption from her Twitter page this past Wednesday. The third woman on the far left has yet to be identified, other than some reports say she may not a porn star. Brooklyn Lee is an award winning porn star, winning a title for ′the Most Outrageous Sex Scene′. One has to wonder what Clinton′s Secret Service detail was up to at the Hotel de Paris while Bill Clinton poses with porn stars?

The upcoming PBS documentary ″American Experience: Clinton″ will take a fresh look at the affair between Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton. Many former White House staffers dish up some new insights, including Dick Morris and Marla Crider. Also interviewed are Betsey Wright and author Ken Gormley in the documentary film by Barak Goodman, scheduled to be aired the next two weeks. Yes, we turn back the clock and remember all the fun of blue dresses, Newt Gingrich, Ken Starr and Hillary Clinton. Of course, much of the documentary will be about other matters, but needless to say, the Clinton-Lewinsky affair will play a big role in the film.

As we all know, the Clintons have always held daughter Chelsea away from the media. And the media obliged. Even as the press viciously went after the children of every Republican politician they wanted to destroy — recall how badly the press maligned Palin’s children — little Chelsea was given the respect one would have thought every child should receive.

But now, despite consistently refusing to ever talk to the press, all of a sudden Chelsea wants to be a star. And so, to coddle their favorite President’s little girl, NBC News has hired Chelsea on as a “special correspondent.” More like a special payoff to her ex-president daddy, I’d say.

This weekend on Maria Bartiromo’s program, Wall Street Journal Report, she interviewed the ex-President, Bill Clinton. Clinton’s wife as we might recall is Secretary of State; therefore, she has some influence over foreign policy (witness the War in Libya, where by all accounts, she has been the driving force). Well, Clinton stated that Osama Bin Laden “…was a charismatic, intelligent and courageous figure in a way, in the sense that he lived in a cave and then hid out and–you know, he came from the richest family of Saudi Arabia, he could’ve had a very different life–was that he has a world view that is totally inconsistent with human survivability.”

Interestingly at the end of last week during the IHS CERAWeek conference held in Houston, Texas, former President Bill Clinton said that Obama’s constant delays on issuing offshore oil drilling permits was “ridiculous.” With this one might be able to claim that Bill Clinton is a “drill, baby, drill” booster, just like Sarah Palin!

Politico is reporting that Bill Clinton agreed with fellow speaker former President George W. Bush on many of his points concerning the oil and gas industry and agreed that the hurdles that Obama’s government have been thrown up before them are ill advised.
