Can Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) save America from Barack Obama and the NSA snooping scandal? Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Sen. Paul said that he is looking for 10 million Americans to join him in filing a class action lawsuit before the Supreme Court to stop the Obama regime from trashing the Fourth Amendment. He is also proposing to present legislation in the Senate to reinforce the 4th Amendment and trim the fat of the Patriot Act. Mind you, Rand Paul has no problem with the NSA surveillance of suspected terrorists. But obtaining blanket FISA court orders to allow for the wholesale, NSA spying of all phone records and Internet activity goes way beyond the limits our Constitution places upon the federal government. Would you support Rand Paul in his efforts to reform the National Security Agency?

Little did Ellen Henry of the Santee Historical Society, SHS, realize that her photo of a UFO over the historic Edgemoor Barn would cause such a stir, making it one of the best UFO sightings for 2013! On May 7, 2013, Ms. Henry was photographing the barn, noted in San Diego County for potential ghost sightings, when a strange object appeared flying overhead. According to the Huffington Post, she was just taking pictures to update the society′s logo on the front of the barn. She heard no unusual sounds and did not notice the UFO until much later when reviewing her work. The 100-year old barn is located near two airports, Gillespie Field and MCAS Miramar, but the object is clearly not any conventional aircraft. Some speculate that it may be a new type of UAV, or unmanned drone. HuffPo also talked with Janet Kwak from 10News, the local ABC TV affiliate, who contacted both airfields and received no explanation to the UFO image.

A British soldier was killed by two Muslim men in a London terror attack Wednesday. Just outside the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich Common, two men armed with a pistol and several edge weapons, including a machete and a butcher′s meat cleaver, deliberately ran over a 20-year old soldier with their automobile. Then, according to witnesses and Scotland Yard, the Muslim men proceeded to behead and hack the soldier′s body in a gruesome fashion in broad daylight. They then paraded about as onlookers watched and some video recorded the whole incident. They made political speeches of extreme Islamic views and shouted, ′Allah Akbar!′ Metropolitan police did not respond for some twenty minutes to the London attack 2013 as they waited for a special unit arrived that was armed with guns. David Cameron, who was in France for a conference, relayed immediately that there were strong indications that this was a terrorist attack, not workplace violence nor road rage as Barack Obama would have characterize such.

ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl caused quite a stir resulting in another Jay Carney press conference that was entertaining, to say the least. Karl′s story was an expansion from previous ones done by others, such as Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard concerning State Department emails to the White House over the Benghazi talking points memo from last September. Fox News and CBS News had reported back then about how the memo, used by U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice on Sunday morning talks shows, were modified. Last September, Jay Carney said that the White House only made one minor ″stylistic″ change, referring to the consulate in Benghazi, Libya as a ″diplomatic facility.″ But Karl reported yesterday that there had been at least 12 different drafts of the memo with whole paragraphs removed or altered, including eliminating any references to Al Qaeda or the Islamic militant group, Ansar al-Sharia.

Japan′s Nikkei ends with a weekly gain of 7% while the Japanese Yen collapses. In the race to the bottom, the Bank of Japan has been printing so much Yen that it has now passed the 100 Yen to one U.S. Dollar. Once more, we see how massive currency manipulation by central banks spell wonder for stock markets while average citizens succumb to more financial insecurity. Just as with the U.S. Federal Reserve and its policy of quantitative easing, very few benefit from currency debasement.

The families and supporters of members of the SEAL Team 6 unit which was lost on August 6, 2011 in Afghanistan spoke out yesterday at the National Press Club. Some believe that the unit was set-up for assassination, perhaps betrayed by Afghanis working for the Taliban, to shoot down the CH-47 Chinook helicopter carrying 38 people, including 17 Navy SEALs. But the story gets even worse as a video shows the ′ramp ceremony′ where the bodies of the dead soldiers were returned to the United States. The Pentagon and Obama administration arranged for a Muslim cleric who was allowed to essentially insult our fallen heroes, condemning them to Hell and disparaging ″the God of Moses″. The incident paints a grim and tragic picture of how the Barack Hussein Obama administration is corrupting our military services on many levels, including political correctness and Muslim ′outreach.′

Three whistle-blowers from the State Department testified yesterday at the Benghazi hearings held by the Congressional Oversight and Reform Committee. Eric Nordstrom, Mark Thompson and Gregory Hicks appeared before Darrell Issa and the rest to give their version of what happened during the terrorist attack on our facilities in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. There was general agreement that the version of the story portrayed by the White House, and by Hillary Clinton, was inaccurate. That the Accountability Review Board was very limited in it′s investigation, never interviewing high-level officials nor even having stenographers present while taking testimony. Gregory Hicks, the Deputy Mission Chief in Libya, second only to Ambassador Chris Stevens, gave perhaps the most important statements. He said of the video-protest story which U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice presented on Sunday talk shows that he was ″stunned″ and ″embarrassed″. That ″my jaw dropped″ when he heard about her talking points.

Houston, Texas is the scene for the NRA Convention 2013 as Second Amendment supporters celebrate the defeat of Barack Obama′s gun control attempt. The National Rifle Association event began on Thursday and ends Sunday with an impressive list of speakers. Texas Governor Rick Perry, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin and even talk radio stars like ′The Great One′, Mark Levin and our old pal Glenn Beck praised the NRA and real Americans for protecting our gun rights. Meanwhile, our nation′s first anti-president, Barack Hussein Obama, was in Mexico apologizing for that country being flooded with American-made firearms. Forgetting about the Obama administration′s own hand in providing weapons to drug cartels through ′Fast and Furious′, one could argue that most of the guns were made in China, such as semi-auto versions of the AK-47.
