Liberal Solution to Terrorism – More Taxes

Liberal Democrats have the answer to combating terrorism…, more taxes! Yes, the need for raising more revenue is the solution in some people′s minds. Now that we know that the Tsarnaev family was on welfare most of the past decade that they′ve been in the United States, it is easy to see why. The reason they hatched their bomb plot was not religion or politics, but they were probably upset that they lost their welfare checks. Tamelan, the older brother who was killed by police and was most likely the leader of the bunch got kicked off welfare since his estranged wife actually got a job. So how could the Tsarnaev′s afford their Porche, Mercedes, Range Rover and those $900 shoes Tamerlan liked to wear? I have to wonder if Dvhokhar and Tamerlan used their free Obama-cell-phones to detonate their pressure cooker bombs?

Boston Marathon Bombing Conspiracy Theories

The Boston bombing suspect family say their children are being framed is just one of the Boston Marathon bombing conspiracy theories that have emerged this week. Anzor and Zubeidat Tsarnaeva are the father and mother of bombing suspects Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev. They are not alone as Alex Jones and his pals at Prison-Planet/Info-Wars are also knee-deep in the frame-up theory. One of their ′citizen journalists′ made quite a spectacle of himself at the police press conferences Monday and Wednesday raising the issue of the Boston bombings being ′False Flag′ operations. Of course, my personal favorite conspiracy theory is one that I am starting about how Columbia University in New York City has already offered Dzhokhar Tsarnaev a job teaching International Studies if he ever gets out of prison.

Obama Gun Grab Defeated, Senate Background Bill Fails

The U.S. Senate background bill failed to secure the needed 60 votes to prevent a filibuster yesterday, defeating the entire Obama gun-grab-control agenda. Obama appeared after the vote in the White House Rose Garden with Gabrielle Giffords and some of the parents of the Newtown shooting victims to scold the senators. Even Harry Reid changed his vote to a NO on the proposal submitted by Pat Toomey (R-PA) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) which would have tightened restrictions on private gun sales. The vote is seen as a victory for the Second Amendment, as well as for advocates of the National Rifle Association. Even Obama has been forced to admit that the current legislation would probably do nothing to stop another mass shooting as that which took place last December at the Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Florida Atlantic University issues Jesus stomping apology

Florida Atlantic University has issued a Jesus stomping apology to Ryan Rotela, the student who refused to stomp on the name of Jesus Christ. Governor Rick Scott has ordered an investigation into the matter which was started by Professor Deandre Poole, who is also the Vice Chair for the Democrat Party in West Palm Beach. Prof. Poole teaches a course in Intercultural Communications at FAU′s Boca Raton campus. The exercise was from a textbook, ″Intercultural Communications: A Contextual Approach, 5th Edition″, which had students write the name of Jesus on a piece of paper, then place it on the ground and stomp on it with your feet. Somehow, this act is suppose to encourage discourse and add knowledge. All it really demonstrates is how fouled up our education system is!

Government is Stupid…

An ongoing series pointing out how relentlessly stupid and inefficient government can be at its worst. Enjoy!
——————————————-
The WSJ posted an article today, The Senate After Dark, which calls attention to the fact that the FAA is warning of coming sequester-related furloughs at major airports around the country. Okay, we knew there was going to be some pain; so what is unusual about this situation?

The Destruction of the American Economic Ecosystem

When you have a government that sees itself as the central institution of a society, or makes itself so, it’s not a good thing. When you have a government which believes it can tax and spend a nation to prosperity, it’s even worse. When you have a government with both these characteristics, it’s fair to say, things have become grim.

John Kerry and the Right to be Stupid

Our new Secretary of State, John Kerry, thinks that the right to be stupid is part of the Bill of Rights. Yes, Kerry was speaking to students in Berlin, Germany, comparing the concept of tolerance to being stupid. When did the Supreme Court rule on that? Which Amendment did Congress and the states ratify for being stupid? What a fine example for the United States to project as he begins his first overseas trip, heading for the Middle East with scheduled stops in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi. Kerry also related a tale of his own youth, crossing the border in West Berlin to see Communism up close. Is it any wonder why the Russians did not bother to return Kerry′s phone call for ten days?
