Right Review: Playbook 2012 – The Right Fights Back

The editors of Politico have decided to produce a series of e-books that examine the 2012 Presidential race. The first of these, The Right Fights Back, has now been released. The book was co-authored by Mike Allen, a Politico reporter, and Evan Thomas, a Newsweek editor and reporter. Cain endorses Gingrich, Palin says ‘Annoy a Liberal, Vote for Newt!’

Last night at the West Palm Beach, Florida GOP Lincoln dinner, Herman Cain formally endorsed Newt Gingrich to be the 2012 Republican presidential nominee. At almost the same moment, Sarah Palin appeared on the Judge Jeanine Pirro show on the Fox News Channel, urging voters in Florida to vote for Gingrich, too. She gave several reasons, mostly to draw out the campaigns for more vetting. But Palin′s best reason was ″Annoy a Liberal, vote for Newt!″ I can see the bumper-sticker already!

Failed Presidential Bids, Candidates

We have seen several failed presidential bids and candidates so far in the past year. Some barely had a chance at bat, to use a baseball analogy. Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann and Jon Huntsman, Jr., as well as Herman Cain are just the latest to join others in history. Al Gore, Ross Perot, John Edwards, Howard Dean, Gary Hart, Michael Dukakis are among those who in recent memory appeared to have a shot at the White House and failed. Gerald Ford lost his presidency in 1976 to Jimmy Carter. Barry Goldwater perhaps had the most famous loss in 1964 after Lyndon Johnson ran a controversial TV ad implying that Goldwater would start a nuclear war. So just what does it take to earn the big chair in the Oval Office?

Will The GOP Pick a Minority For Vice President?

Will the GOP pick a woman or an Hispanic for the number two spot on the 2112 ticket or will they pick another ORWG (old rich white guy)?

The question arises by a recent report from WISH TV in Indianapolis that Hoosier Governor Mitch Daniels will not rule out accepting the second chair on the 2012 ticket.

Herman Cain to Endorse Newt Gingrich

According to the local news outlet, FoxNews 5 in Atlanta, Georgia, Herman Cain will endorse Newt Gingrich to be the 2012 Republican presidential nominee. Cain ended his own bid for the White House this past Saturday after a third woman, Ginger White, went public accusing Herman Cain of having sexual improprieties. Two other women had gone public weeks ago accusing Cain of sexual harassment, however White claims that she had a 13-year consensual relationship with him. While Cain denies any improprieties in all cases, he does admit to knowing Ginger White and providing her with money for some length of time. So the question to us is, will Herman Cain′s endorsement of Newt Gingrich benefit Newt′s campaign?

Herman Cain Suspends Campaign

The scene was at the grand opening of his new headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Herman Cain officially suspended his 2012 Republican presidential campaign after allegations of a long-term affair with Ginger White. Appearing on stage before the crowd, with his wife, Gloria, of 43 years, Cain remained defiant concerning allegations of any sex scandals. But Herman Cain has been forced to accept the reality of fading poll numbers and a rapidly shrinking calendar. A four-day tracking poll in Iowa shows his support dwindling from 12% to just 4%. With just one month to go, there simply is not enough time to wait for other candidates to implode and recover lost ground.

Saturday Announcement may end Herman Cain 2012 presidential campaign

The Herman Cain 2012 presidential campaign says there will be a major announcement on Saturday in regards to the latest accusations of an affair and its impact on Cain′s bid for the White House. The most recent Herman Cain accuser to go public, Ginger White, claims she had a 13-year long affair with him. That he took her on trips, bought her expensive gifts and provided her with cash money. Cain canceled a meet-and-greet dinner in New York City tonight with high-powered Media types to return home to Georgia and discuss the situation wit his wife, Gloria Cain. We learned yesterday that she was never told about Ginger White′s ′friendship′ with Herman Cain, nor that he gave her money periodically. Cain himself admits that he did know her and has provided her with money at times.

Herman Cain denies latest infidelity claims from Third Woman

On a day when Herman Cain was hoping to get his 2012 presidential campaign back on track with his latest video, ′9-9-9, the Movie′, a third woman has stepped forward to speak publicly, this time alleging that she and Cain had a 13-year long affair. Local Fox affiliate in Atlanta broke the story of Ginger White, an Atlanta businesswoman, who says that she first met Cain in Kentucky in the 1990s while he was president of the National Restaurant Association. He invited her to his hotel room after they had some drinks and thus began a long-term extramarital relationship. Naturally, Herman Cain denies the affair with the third woman, as he appeared on CNN with Wolf Blitzer. His lawyer, Lin Wood, has also released a statement on the matter. But Ginger White may have some evidence to back up her claim in a set of autographed books from Cain as well as phone logs.
