Jeb Bush 2016 Run Not Ruled Out

Jeb Bush says a 2016 run for the White House is not ruled out. This as the former Florida governor makes the rounds pushing his new book, Immigration Wars: Forging an American Solution. Bush told Matt Lauer of the Today Show that a decision to run for Republican Party nomination is still a long way off. Bush will be speaking at the CPAC 2013 convention in Baltimore along with Marco Rubio and Mitt Romney, as well as other GOP notables. There has been some ire in the Media about Chris Christie not being invited to be among the 22 speakers at CPAC, although they forget that he gave the keynote address last year, which usually means no invite the following convention. So, is America ready for another Bush presidency?

CPAC Snubs Gov. Chris Christie

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie might be invited to speak at the next Water Buffalo Lodge meeting, but not at this year′s CPAC convention. The Conservation Political Action Committee has decided that he is not their cup of cactus tea! Perhaps some people are still fuming over Gov. Christie giving Barack Obama a nice photo-op following Hurricane Sandy? Given that exit poll data does suggest that a significant number of undecided voters did opt for Obama following the super-storm, critics of Christie might be correct in that he helped reelect Obama. CPAC is extending speaker invitations to such notable figures as Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, Gov. Bobby Jindal, Senators Marco Rubio, Rand Paul and Ted Cruz and Representative Paul Ryan. Even Jeb Bush and Rick Santorum are invited to speak at CPAC.

Is CPAC snubbing Gov. Chris Christie because he is a RINO? Or is it because he still uses an old monitor with his computer?

Dr. Benjamin Carson for President in 2016?

Will Dr. Benjamin Carson run for president in 2016? Appearing on a special edition of Sean Hannity′s ′Saving America′ this weekend, the answer may very well be, YES! Dr. Carson caused quite a stir two weeks ago when he spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast. With Barack Hussein Obama sitting just a few feet away, Dr. Carson lectured our nation′s first Anti-President on how to properly run the country. The good doctor warned of our growing National Debt, the ill effects of Big Government and the folly of the Affordable Care Act, a.k.a., ObamaCare. Being Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Dr. Carson knows a thing or two about our health care system. Struggling from poverty in Detroit, Michigan to become one of the nation′s top 20 scientists and physicians shows that he also knows a thing or two about life in general, especially how to succeed at it!

Marco Rubio Hits a Home Run

Tonight, Marco Rubio was given the unenviable task of responding to President Obama’s State of the Union speech. Unlike his predecessors, Rubio struck the proper tone. Rather than spend much of his speech wallowing in specific details, he chose instead to make clear why conservatives believe in limited government.

Ron Paul Climbs Aboard the Crazy Train

For some reason, former Presidential candidate Ron Paul felt the need to tweet the world yesterday about the murder of American Sniper. Chris Kyle, a former US Navy Seal, was shot and killed Saturday at a Texas gun range. The alleged gunman, Eddie Ray Routh, is a veteran who has a mental illness associated with his military service. Kyle is known as the most lethal sniper in American history, with 160 confirmed kills. He enlisted in the Navy in 1999, served 4 tours in Iraq, and was discharged in 2009. During his service, Kyle received 14 awards and medals, including two Silver Stars and five Bronze Stars. Kyle was at the gun range with Chad Littlefield, a veteran who Kyle was assisting.

Obama hosting Romney for Lunch

What will Jay Carney tells us as Barack Obama is hosting Mitt Romney for lunch at the White House? Will we get any inside dope about what they may talk about in their private dining room or in the Oval Office? What about Joe Biden? Will he be taking Paul Ryan out next? I suppose Obama is being nice, giving Romney a taste of what could have been. Perhaps Obama wants advice on to to handle the Republicans Party on Capitol Hill over the Fiscal Cliff talks? Nah, I don′t think so! After yesterday′s speech, it is clear that Obama wants taxes raised without any spending cuts. Since his allies in the Media, like the Washington Post, will just blame the GOP anyway should an agreement fails to be reached, Obama could care less.
